Materials Buyer

Touchdown Business Solutions is hiring a Materials Buyer for one of our reputable, established clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily component purchasing to align with production schedules.
  • Work with suppliers to resolve shortages and expedite the delivery of critical parts.
  • Keep ERP data accurate and update purchase orders as needed.
  • Communicate with suppliers about orders, deliveries, and recovery plans.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing and Assembly teams on urgent part needs.
  • Help control inventory by balancing availability and minimizing excess.
  • Attend daily operations meetings and provide status updates.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, or 3-7 years of relevant purchasing/materials management experience
  • Sourcing experience with component parts
  • Proficient with ERP systems
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong research and analytical abilities
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

Shift Time & Pay: Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:30pm Salary role: $55,000-$65,000

Full-Time/Part-Time - Full-Time

Exempt/Non-Exempt - Non-Exempt
