Position Overview

The Commercial Roofing Foreman will lead a two-person traveling repair team , overseeing daily warranty and repair work at commercial properties across the country. This position is responsible for ensuring repairs are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to JRC's quality standards.

The ideal candidate is an experienced roofer who can confidently diagnose roofing issues, lead a small team, communicate professionally with customers, and work independently in a traveling role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and perform commercial roofing repairs on job sites
• Supervise and support a two-person repair team
• Diagnose roofing issues and determine appropriate repair solutions during warranty service calls
• Inspect completed work to ensure company and industry standards are met
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within established timelines
• Conduct final walkthroughs with property managers and customers
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
• Follow all company safety procedures and repair protocols
• Complete and submit daily reports, service documentation, and other required paperwork
• Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, and JRC management

Qualifications

• Proven commercial roofing experience, including TPO, EPDM, and/or PVC systems
• Previous experience as a Foreman, Lead, or Supervisor with a commercial roofing contractor
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and diagnose roofing issues
• Comfortable working independently and leading a small team
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Requirements

• Dependable, self-motivated, and safety-conscious
• Willing and able to travel for up to 5 days at a time for job assignments
• Able to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders, and safely work at heights
• Proficient with hand and power tools commonly used in commercial roofing
• Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions
• Able to maintain a professional and customer-focused attitude while traveling
