Full-time
- MUST have a High School Diploma or GED.
- MUST have a valid NJ Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
- Experience providing peer support.
- Knowledge of HMIS software a plus!
- Ability to build trusting, respectful relationships with individuals experiencing homelessness and high levels of vulnerability, including those living with mental health disabilities, substance use disorders, and prior justice system involvement."
- Knowledge of transitional and permanent supportive housing.
- Willingness to share lived experience, including current or past use of mental health or addiction services, experiences with homelessness, and elements of one's personal recovery journey
- Proficient in MS Office products, as well as general computer literacy.
- Ability to effectively communicate and relate to a diverse population in a multicultural environment.
- Proven ability to engage and support individuals with mental health diagnoses using empathy, professionalism, and trauma-informed practices.
- Bilingual skills are a plus!
- Lived Experience: CSPNJ prioritizes hiring individuals who use their personal experience with mental health diagnoses or substance use to inspire, support, and empower others.
