This position will be based on the West Coast and ideally in the greater Los Angeles, CA or San Diego, CA area. The position is a 100% remote based job working from your home office and visiting suppliers in the area. Therefore, the candidate must be self-directed and manage their own schedule to meet the business requirements. This position requires a minimum of 30% travel.

What You Will Do:

• The Military Engines Sustainment Quality team is looking for a Supplier Quality Assurance/Analyst who is energetic and motivated to join the Supplier Quality Team to manage the supply base in conducting system, process and product audits, initiate and manage Quality Data, support suppliers and be instrumental in driving RCCA in the supply base.

• Lead and conduct quality system, process, and product audits; update digital audit system and issue corrective actions as required.

• Actively work within the SAP system to process/close out quality notifications (QN), research component/module history and identify service master activity.

• Manage supplier quality issues through monitoring / escalation processes, escape management and processing of supplier submission of non-conforming material.

• Facilitate investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions while preventing future recurrence.

• Generate and modify applicable quality-controlled documentation to ensure processes and requirements are clearly defined.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.

• AS9100/9110 audit experience.

• Ability to travel as required.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions, quality manuals, and other detailed instructions.

• CORE Champion or working towards CORE proficiency.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications to include MS Word, Access, Power Point and Excel.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
