Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Medical-Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) travel nurse for a position in Dubuque, Iowa. This role involves working in a Med Surg/Telemetry unit with a focus on patient care for Medical Surgical, Rehabilitation, and Behavioral Health patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The position entails night shifts, and candidates must have relevant experience and certifications as specified.

Job Details:

• Location: Dubuque, Iowa
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • 24 months of current experience in Medical Surgical, Telemetry, or IMCU capacity
  • EPIC electronic medical records experience
  • Active Iowa or multistate license or valid compact license at the time of submission
  • Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) through AHA or ARC, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) through AHA or ARC, NIH Stroke Scale (highly preferred)
  • Experience administering Heparin and Insulin
  • Valid driver's license
  • Work history must reflect current experience within the last 24 months
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional references from current or recent supervisors or managers within the last 24 months
  • Experience working independently in a high-acuity setting
• Additional Information:
  • The position involves floating across Medical Surgical, Rehabilitation, and Behavioral Health units
  • Orientation dates: June 15 and June 22, 2026
  • Holiday work: Holidays are required unless the unit is closed; holiday pay multiplier applies
  • Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
  • Candidates must have completed at least one travel contract within the past 12 months
  • No first-time travelers accepted for this role
