You will join a close-knit, hardworking and supportive team that values collaboration and consistently high-quality patient care.Caregiver schedule: Saturday and Sunday 7pm-7:30amIncentives: Sign-on bonus of up to $2,500Benefits include:Medical, dental and vision – starting on Day 1Generous vacation timePaid maternity and parental leaveRetirement packages, including 403(b) and pension offeringsA caregiver who excels in this role will:Acquire and review patient questionnaire, chart and data/requisition to determine contraindication of MRI examination.Perform MRI procedures required per protocol and perform daily QA.Educate patients regarding MRI procedures, equipment, and exams.Ensure patients' comfort and safety during and after the exam.Report any malfunctions and observe potential equipment dysfunctions and report problems or calls for service.Maintain available equipment up-time at the highest level for patient accessibility.Instruct and mentor new hires and Radiology students.Attend in-service programs and professional affiliation sessions.Obtain a certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging: R.T.(MR)(ARRT) within one year of hire if not already credentialedMinimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or graduate of an accredited institution per the primary pathway of the ARRTHold one of the following credentials in good standing:ARMRIT Registered MRI TechnologistARRT Registered Technologist in Radiography, Sonography, Radiation Therapy or Nuclear Medicine: R.T.(R), R.T.(S), R.T.(T) or R.T.(N)Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) (CNMT) through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (ARDMS and NMTCB are primary pathways)Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross certificationKnowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related pathologic processesPreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:One year experience as a General Radiologic Technologist or experience in other imaging modalitiesPhysical Requirements:Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily.Requires frequent pushing and pulling of equipment up to 75 pounds.Personal Protective Equipment:Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.Pay RangeMinimum hourly: $35.25Maximum hourly: $53.00The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education.
