Senior Financial Analyst (Restaurant Development)

Summary of :

As a key member of the Corporate FP&A team, the Senior Financial Analyst (RD) is responsible for serving as the Finance partner to the Restaurant Development department. This position supports the annual operating plan, forecasting and reporting focused on the RD department. The Senior Financial analyst also partners with other functional areas, such as Data Analytics, Accounting and IS to synthesize information and data into actionable reporting contributing to the annual plan and forecast. This position will also focus on managing the capital financial planning efforts and performs ad hoc analysis and special project as assigned.

You'll get a chance to:

• Serves as the Finance partner to the RD department identifying opportunities to enhance the financial performance of RD projects. Plans and forecasts restaurant development, closure, and store remodeling.
• Develops in-depth analysis and financial tools for the RD team. Responsible for the real estate proforma model used for site acquisition and lease renewals.
• Leads the company's capital financial planning efforts for both Operations and Support Center, contributing to the annual plan and forecast updates. Identifies opportunities to improve return on capital for RD.
• Responsible for planning and monitoring the company's depreciation plans for existing assets and new projects.
• Plans, monitors, and provides reporting and analysis for repair, maintenance and utilities spending.
• Works on ad hoc financial analysis and participates in special projects to address leadership questions as assigned.
• Supports the budget process by performing analysis related to the annual plan for controllables (repairs, maintenance, utilities, depreciation, and capital-related items).

Qualifications - External

Your background and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field required
• Minimum five years of finance experience
• Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
• Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.

Pay Range : P3: $90,000 - $126,500 / Annual

• Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.

While performing duties, counter areas are often hot with steam from steam table and food vapors. Workspace is restricted and employees are generally expected to remain standing for long periods of time. Employees must prepare hot and cold foods, use Chinese cook knife and other kitchen equipment and work quickly without losing accuracy. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand up to four hours and reach across counter tops measured at 36 inches to serve customers. Kitchens are hot and noise levels are usually high; storage space is limited and shelving is high. Employees must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment, have effective verbal communication skills, ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities, and the ability to manage conflicts/difficult situations.
