Department Information Admissions Job Summary This position is responsible for actively recruiting transfer students, special populations, and out of state freshman by providing current information about the College and its programs, pre-enrollment course recommendations, as well as the transfer application process to students, faculty, and staff. This position is designated as Campus Security Authority (CSA). Responsibilities

1. Assist departmental leadership in setting new student enrollment targets, defining key schools, and devising and implementing strategies to reach those targets.
2. Manages recruitment and admissions for transfer, non-traditional, non-degree, and out of state students and is responsible for meeting transfer student recruitment and out of state freshman enrollment goals.
3. Utilize available communications tools to provide a high degree of personal contact and establish relationship with prospective students, applicants, accepted students, and their families while enhancing a student¿s level of interest in the College.
4. Serves as in-house enrollment counselor for admissions inquiries and other campus visitors while maintaining a high level of customer service.
5. Develops external relations with technical colleges, community colleges, and community partners to build relationships and develop articulation agreements, bridge programs, and memorandums of understanding to support a seamless transfer and enrollment process.
6. Coordinates on and off campus events for prospective out-of-state and transfer students including college fairs, community events, and other activities while also serving as an advisor for international student and transfer mentors.
7. Evaluate, determine, and process admission for applicants through review of applicant files.
8. Maintain accurate reports and records pertaining to prospective student recruitment, follow-up activity, enrollment, and accepted student yield.
9. Performs related work and additional duties as required.

Required Qualifications Educational Requirements Baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field Other Required Qualifications Must possess a current valid drivers license with acceptable driving record and pass a yearly Motor Vehicle Report review Required Experience More than one year of related experience Preferred Qualifications Preferred Experience Two (2) years of prior work experience in recruiting, sales, higher education or a related field preferred Familiarity with student information systems and/or customer relationship management systems Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Access/PowerPoint/Excel) Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Ability to lift at least twenty-five (25) pounds

Knowledge of computers and job-related software programs
