Salary: See Position Description Location : Jefferson City, MO Job Type: Part Time Job Number: 202607e Department: Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department Division: RecreationServices Opening Date: 06/18/2026 Closing Date: Continuous Description The City of Jefferson is now accepting applications for a Facility Supervisor for our Parks and Recreation Department. Must have great customer service while overseeing youth & adult programs in the wellness center including sport programs, space rentals, concessions and employee supervision and motivation. Examples of Duties Supervisors are responsible for overseeing youth and adult sports programs; employee supervision and motivation; facility cleanliness and safety; public relations and game related problems; supervision of participants and enforcement of rules and regulations; attend to all daily tasks necessary for the efficient and effective operation of the recreation center as assigned; supervise sports and concession staff; keep records and oversee cash handling of the concession stand. Typical Qualifications Experience in employee supervision, as well as knowledge of applicable sports preferred. Excellent customer service skills with a positive, friendly attitude and communication skills necessary. Prefer candidates to be at least 20 years old. First Aid and CPR certification preferred. Supplemental Information The starting hourly salary for this position is $16.15 per hour. Locations include: Binder Sports Complex, The Linc, 63 Sports Complex, Washington Park Ballfields and the Optimist Sports Complex. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
