Travel Surgical Tech/ORT - CVORT
American Traveler seeks a CVOR Surgical Technologist with 2 years of experience and cardiovascular surgery expertise for a hospital CVOR unit.
Hospital CVOR unit within a Heart/Lung and Transplant program
Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
Weekend coverage as needed
On-call requirement of 4 stay-lates per month and 4 first or second call shifts per month
Holiday coverage as needed
No floating required
Epic charting system required
Skilled in vascular procedures including Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Arteriovenous fistula repair, Carotid Endarterectomy, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, and Femoral popliteal bypass graft
Skilled in cardiovascular procedures including Aortic Aneurysm repair, CABG, ECMO insertion/decannulation, EVAR, Mitral valve replacement, Pericardial window, TAVR, and VAD (EVAR experience preferred)
Support complex cardiovascular and vascular surgical procedures in a specialized CVOR setting
Work alongside a dedicated surgical team within a heart, lung, and transplant program
First-time travelers not specifically excluded for this role
Returning employees from the health system must wait at least 1 year before being eligible for travel positions
