REGISTERED NURSE SUPERVISOR (RN)

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is seeking an experienced registered nurse supervisor to ensure the best patient care by supervising the facility and directing nursing staff during the shift. Job Description Assure the best patient care possible by supervising the facility and directing nursing staff during shift. Assist the Director of Nursing in directing, coordinating, and supervising the Nursing Services Department. Supervise nursing services for facility during shift in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act, facility policies and procedures, and local, state, and federal regulations. Supervise and assist nurses with patients during acute episodes. Deal with employee problems on a timely basis and document actions. Assume on-call responsibilities. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements High school graduate. Registered Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing. Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing; submit proof of license renewal every other year. Provide quality nursing care to patients, follow doctor orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing. CPR certified yearly. Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required. Ability to supervise nursing staff, ensuring work assignments are completed appropriately and timely. Read, know, and follow personnel, department, and facility policies and procedures and adhere to local, state, and federal requirements. Long‑term care experience preferred.
