This exciting full-time contract runs from late July 2026 through May 2027 and offers an opportunity to work on-site as part of a dedicated educational team near Prairieville, LA. Whether you're seeking a full- or part-time schedule, your skills will be highly valued and immediately needed. Two openings are available, so you’ll join another professional in delivering vital psychological support and services across assigned schools (assignments are currently being finalized).

Bring your commitment to students’ developmental, social, and emotional well-being as you collaborate with educators, families, and administrators on comprehensive support strategies. The role begins with a couple of professional development days before the school year, so you’ll step in feeling prepared and connected.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Louisiana DOE certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience providing services to children in K-12 educational environments
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills
• Must be available to complete district-level background check and fingerprinting
• Flexibility to work at multiple campuses as assigned

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop and implement behavior plans, and contribute to IEP/504 teams
• Deliver counseling and intervention services for students with diverse needs
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote student success
• Maintain timely and thorough documentation in accordance with district guidelines
