Position type: Full-time, Contract

Duration: 6 months, possible extension

Location: Trenton New Jersey 08619

Shift: 2nd Shift | 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM EST

About the Opportunity

We're seeking a Production Supervisor to lead production operations, inspire teams, and drive continuous improvement at our Trenton facility.

In this role, you'll be at the heart of plant operations championing safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement while ensuring production goals are met efficiently and on schedule. What You'll Do

Lead & Inspire Operations Oversee daily production activities and ensure operational goals are achieved across safety, quality, productivity, and cost metrics. Guide and support production associates to deliver outstanding performance in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Drive Operational Excellence Ensure smooth production flow by optimizing material utilization and identifying opportunities to eliminate waste. Lead daily problem-solving initiatives and implement process improvements using Lean manufacturing principles. Monitor and improve key performance indicators, including productivity, TAKT attainment, customer availability, quality, and cost efficiency. Develop and manage departmental plans and budgets to meet business objectives. Develop People & Build Culture Evaluate employee performance, provide coaching and feedback, and identify training and development opportunities. Promote positive employee relations by ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant employment practices. Support adherence to standard work procedures, plant policies, collective bargaining agreements, and payroll compliance requirements. Act as the key communication bridge between plant leadership and production teams. Champion Safety & Continuous Improvement Lead initiatives that reinforce workplace safety, 5S practices, and operational excellence. Identify improvement opportunities and implement sustainable solutions that enhance productivity and quality. Partner closely with Operations, Quality, Human Resources, Finance, Materials, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement teams to achieve plant-wide goals. What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications 1-3 years of manufacturing experience in a production-focused environment Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills Exceptional problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing setting Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field Previous supervisory or team leadership experience Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $30.00 - $34.90 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
