Armed Security Shift Supervisor Location: San Jose, CA (Transportation Site) Pay Rate : $26.23 / Hour Shift : Swing / Friday to Monday 1500 - 2300 Primary responsibility: Supervise and coordinate the delivery of security services on a specific shift at an assigned customer. Act as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within signed empowerment range. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. At least 21 years of age. Active Guard Card. Active CA .40 Exposed Firearm Permit. Valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience; clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than one accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months). Level 1 Certificate (Power to Arrest and Appropriate Use of Force Certificate). Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner. Ability to prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting. Knowledge of operating procedures and instructions. Background investigation and a post‑offer/pre‑employment drug/alcohol test required. Intermediate computer skills for use of wireless technology at client sites. Ability to handle both common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently. Ability to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat. Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds. Occasionally climb stairs, ramps, or ladders during shift. Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.
