Summary of Performance Expectations Performs a variety of imaging procedures under the clinical direction of a Radiologist, Cardiologist or Surgeon. Education & Credentials Required Graduate of an accredited program of Medical or Cardiovascular Sonography. Current ARDMS or CCI registration in echocardiography or vascular sonography. Effective July 29, 2016, newly employed Imaging Technologist are required to possess an Associate degree. BCLS certification. If the BCLS certification is not from the American Heart Association (AHA), an AHA certification is required within one month of employment date. Preferred Work Experience Required No previous experience required.
