Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and qualified School Psychologist to join our team. The School Psychologist will play a vital role in supporting the academic achievement, mental health, and overall well-being of our students. The ideal candidate will possess strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills and will be mitted to promoting positive school climate and student success. Responsibilities: Conduct prehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with diverse needs. Provide counseling and therapeutic interventions to students experiencing academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges. Assist in the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives aimed at promoting positive behavior support, social-emotional learning, and mental health awareness. Serve as a resource to school staff regarding effective instructional practices, behavioral interventions, and munity resources. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress, interventions, and support strategies. Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and student progress. Qualifications: Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program. Valid certification/license as a School Psychologist (PSY) in the state of Maryland. pletion of a supervised internship in a school setting. Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in a school or educational setting preferred. Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, intervention strategies, and relevant laws and regulations.
