Associate Sales Center Technician

Location: Beltsville, MD

Employment Type: Full-Time

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate, After Sales Center Technician to join our After Sales Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, refurbishing, testing, and quality-checking household coffee machines. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to quality, and a passion for continuous learning in a hands-on technical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain household coffee machines and related appliances.

Perform functional testing and quality inspections to ensure repaired products meet company standards.

Apply electrical, mechanical, and fluidic system principles in troubleshooting and repair activities.

Accurately document repair activities, parts usage, inspection results, and inventory transactions.

Support inventory management activities, including receiving, stocking, cycle counts, and parts organization.

Clean, test, package, and prepare repaired products for shipment.

Identify recurring product issues and provide feedback to support quality and process improvements.

Follow all safety policies, operational procedures, and quality management system requirements.

Collaborate with technicians, customer support teams, quality teams, and management to resolve product-related issues.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

Required Education

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Education

Technical certification or vocational training in Electronics, Appliance Repair, Mechanical Systems, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.

Required Skills and Competencies

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.

Ability to use hand tools and basic diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.

Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop technical skills.

Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in appliance repair, electronics repair, maintenance, manufacturing, technical support, quality control, or similar technical environments.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, and repair documentation.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, crouch, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.

Ability to lift, move, and transport products and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Manual dexterity and visual acuity necessary for diagnostic, repair, and inspection tasks.
