About the Position

License: Active state license required. Certifications: BLS certification required. Must-Have: - Experience with pediatric patient care. - Availability for rotating Saturdays and 1-2 evening shifts per week. Description: The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in an ambulatory setting. The nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes is essential. The position includes patient education, health promotion, and disease prevention. The nurse must demonstrate proficiency in various pediatric nursing skills, including immunizations and vital signs monitoring. Flexibility to participate in evening shifts and rotating Saturdays is required. Strong communication skills with patients and families are a priority. Knowledge of charting systems is necessary for accurate record-keeping. The ability to perform pediatric assessments and understand child development is essential.
