Position: Senior Director of Development Location: ENLC Administrative Office, 2201 North Main St., Dayton, OH, 45405 Job Id: 454 # of Openings: 1 Full Time, Medical Benefit eligible – 40 hours per week Position Overview The Senior Director of Development will provide strategic leadership and direction to the development department, driving fundraising initiatives and fostering strong relationships with donors and stakeholders. This role requires a mission‑driven leader with excellent communication skills, strong spiritual leadership, and a servant’s attitude who can inspire and motivate a team to achieve ambitious goals. Job Requirements Experience and Education Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred. Management/Administrative experience, including managing/supervising a staff of 5–10. Five or more years’ of fundraising leadership experience. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and vision for the development department aligned with the organization’s mission. Manage and oversee the departmental budget to ensure effective allocation of resources. Lead fundraising efforts, including major gifts, campaigns, and donor stewardship. Represent the organization through public speaking engagements and community outreach. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maximize fundraising opportunities. Analyze fundraising data and trends to inform strategy and improve outcomes. Demonstrate strong spiritual leadership, fostering a culture of service and mission alignment. Manage time effectively to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Promote a team‑oriented environment, encouraging collaboration and professional growth. Required Skills and Qualifications Strong ability to manage departmental budgets and financial planning. Exceptional fundraising skills with a track record of successful campaigns. Excellent public speaking and interpersonal communication skills. Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
