As a Security Officer Entry Assurance Agent in Plant City, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, and document visitor, vendor, and vehicle activity in accordance with post orders and access requirements. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site personnel and/or emergency contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Complete required reports, logs, and other documentation related to daily operations, access events, and security-related concerns observed during the shift. Minimum Requirements: A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
