Responsibilities
- Assess and triage ED patients, initiating care plans based on acuity and priority needs
- Administer medications and treatments within physician orders, monitor responses, and escalate as needed
- Perform ongoing patient monitoring (vital signs, labs, IV therapy, wound care) and implement emergency interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, imaging, and other team members to coordinate timely, safe patient care
- Document accurately in the electronic health record, ensuring compliance with standards and policies
- Uphold patient rights, safety, family communication, and adherence to the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics

Requirements
- Current, unrestricted RN license in Georgia
- ER nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work a night, 12-hour shift schedule in a fast-paced ED environment
- Comfortable practicing within a hospital-based emergency department and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Formal nursing education from an accredited program (RN degree required)
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and comply with assignment duration and terms
