Hydrogeologist

Key Responsibilities Manage multiple geologic and hydrogeologic investigation, compliance, and remediation projects from start to finish. Support and participate in site‑characterization investigations, including geophysical surveys, well drilling oversight, geologic logging, groundwater sampling, and hydraulic testing events. Document, manage, and analyze data to develop graphical summaries and reports using Excel, PowerPoint, ArcGIS, Word, Sanitas, DUMPStat, AQTESOLV, or applicable software. Conduct routine monitoring events such as installing pressure transducers and measuring water levels. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and work breakdown structures to guide project execution. Coordinate and manage resources across multiple departments to ensure efficient project execution. Communicate project status regularly to team lead, senior management, clients, and other stakeholders through formal reports and presentations. Collect samples and use field instruments to monitor hydrologic conditions (groundwater, stormwater, surface water). Monitor job costs, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation; proactively address risks and issues. Maintain accurate and complete project documentation, including contracts, reports, and change orders. Provide technical oversight and guidance to resolve field and scheduling challenges. Other reasonable directives, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. Evaluate opportunities and prepare work scopes, cost estimates, and proposals. Education, Experience And Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering, Hydrology, or related field (required). Master’s degree and professional license (PE or LPG) preferred. Minimum of 6 years of project management experience in industries related to DOE, DoD, state, or commercial contracting (required). High level of written and verbal communication skills. Must receive a satisfactory pre‑hire drug screen and background check. Must possess a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record. Must be able to meet the physical requirements.
