Quick Facts Location: Hood River, OR Start Date: 08/29/2026 End Date: Ongoing (Contract) Shift: Outpatient, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Wednesday to Friday Hours/Week: 24 hours Employment Type: Contract (locum/temporary) License/Certifications: Active NP license, DEA, BLS, ACLS, Board Certified in Cardiology Experience: Preferred minimum 1+ year in outpatient cardiology settings Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hr Pay & Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time as per law Reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel when applicable Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team What You’ll Do Provide outpatient cardiology care and supervision for stress tests, echo, and device checks Interpret EKGs and sign off on cardiac device checks Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care Supervise and oversee outpatient testing within clinic and hospital settings Support clinical workflows by providing quality patient assessments and follow-up Maintain compliance with all licensing, credentialing, and safety protocols What You Need Required: Active Nurse Practitioner license in Oregon DEA certification BLS and ACLS certification 1+ years outpatient cardiology experience Ability to interpret EKGs and supervise cardiac testing Preferred: Experience with cardiac device management or echocardiography supervision Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment Join a leading facility in Hood River, OR, dedicated to delivering high-quality outpatient cardiology services.
