Job Summary and Qualifications

SUMMARY:


The Patient Safety Attendant functions under the supervision of a first line supervisor and performs delegated functions. The primarily responsibility of this position is sitting with and/or monitoring patients in person or remotely who are "High Risk for Falls" and/or risk of injury to self or others. • Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to perform job
• Completes a competency skills checklist within orientation period after employment
• Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics
• Provides services to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate from high school or high school equivalent program preferred
• Current Basic Life Support required
