Job Summary: Join a compassionate healthcare team delivering exceptional pediatric patient care in a clinical setting. Your daily duties will adapt to meet the evolving needs of the practice, ensuring each child receives attentive and professional care.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and delegated patient care, maintaining awareness of normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients.
• Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines, including responding to patient calls and triaging appropriately.
• Offer reassurance, clear teaching, and guidance to patients and families.
• Ensure smooth healthcare delivery throughout patient visits by accurately completing and updating medical records.
• Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and relevant medical history.
• Monitor patients for abnormal symptoms, communicate findings to physicians, and document observations thoroughly.
• Confirm patient understanding of physician instructions upon discharge and document all medical and billing information in electronic records.
• Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physical exams, including applying splints and dressings.
• Manage sample medications and logs, arrange necessary testing or admissions, and obtain appropriate referrals and consents.
• Distribute educational materials and support patient understanding of treatments and medication usage.
• Perform laboratory tests and maintain laboratory logs as prescribed.
• Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.

Education and Experience Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program.

Licensure/Certifications:

• Must hold a valid nursing license in the state of Indiana.

Work Shift: First shift, full-time (40 hours per week).
