Location: Elkhart, IN
Shift: 2nd Shift 2:00pm-10:30pm
Pay: $18.00–$25.00 per hour + $2.00/hour 2nd Shift Premium (based on experience)

Training Shift: M-F 6am-2pm

Job Summary

In this role, you'll be a vital part of our production team, operating state-of-the-art Mark Andy flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed products that exceed customer expectations. What You'll Be Doing

As a Press Operator (Flexographic) , your core responsibilities will include:

Operating Flexographic Printing Presses: Set up, operate, and monitor Mark Andy flexographic presses to produce printed products that meet customer specifications and company quality standards.

Maintaining Quality & Production Standards: Monitor print registration, inspect print quality throughout production runs, maintain accurate production records, and ensure all work meets quality expectations.

Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine cleaning, preventative maintenance, equipment calibration, and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues to maximize production efficiency.

In addition, you will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized work area, follow all safety procedures, communicate effectively with team members, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

Qualifications:

• Interest in learning the flexographic printing trade; training is available for motivated candidates
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, technical documents, and machine manuals
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends as production demands require

Skills:

Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable operating production equipment and learning new machinery and processes.

Quality Focus: Ability to maintain print quality, verify specifications, and ensure products consistently meet customer expectations.

Teamwork & Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a production environment.
