Interim CFO

Vaco has partnered with a private equity-backed restaurant group in search of an experienced Interim CFO to support a critical leadership transition. The ideal candidate is a seasoned restaurant finance executive with the presence and credibility to operate at the board level.

Job Title: Interim CFO
Location: Phoenix, AZ (remote - onsite during initial onboarding)
Pay Rate: $100 - $125 per hour DOE
Project Duration: 4-6 months
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with the Interim CEO to provide financial leadership and strategic support during a transitional period
• Serve as the senior financial voice for the organization, including direct engagement with the PE firm's Managing Director and board
• Oversee and mentor an existing finance team
• Manage financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• CFO-level experience in the restaurant industry required, full-service restaurant background preferred
• Strong combination of strategic thinking and operational execution
• Ability to commit to duration and needs of the project
