L&D Registered Nurse - Day Shift

Day Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced L&D Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a day shift. This is a dynamic position that may involve floating to other units as operational needs arise.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery unit.
• Monitor and assess patient needs during labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license valid in your state.
• Completion of a nursing program from an accredited institution.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Additional certifications, such as NRP or AWHONN, may be preferred.
• Minimum of one year of L&D experience preferred.
