Bartender

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated, customer‑focused Bartender for the StateView Hotel (Marriott Autograph Collection) to deliver memorable hospitality and create engaging connections from greeting to departure. Responsibilities Greet guests and maintain the bar setup. Guide guests through the beverage menu using descriptive selling. Take orders accurately and confirm all special requests. Maintain knowledge of menu items, beer, wine, cocktails, and spirits, and provide menu recommendations. Collaborate with restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff. Resolve guest concerns and ensure satisfaction. Finalize the experience with timely and accurate bill presentation. Requisition and stock bar supplies, including beer, wine, spirits, fruit, juices, garnishes, and other perishables. Prepare drinks according to standard recipes and maintain portion control. Input orders into the point‑of‑sale system and create checks for guests. Lock up and store all beverages, food, and equipment; deposit cash drops; secure the bank. Qualifications 2–4 years of bartending experience. Current bartending certification or appropriate license. Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits. Proficient in mixology trends and menu selling. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
