What you'll bring:

• Active Maryland (MD) Sign Language Interpreter License
• Demonstrated proficiency in expressive and receptive American Sign Language (ASL)
• Experience interpreting in a school environment strongly preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability
• Ability to collaborate with educators and staff to foster inclusive learning

Your role will focus on:

• Providing direct 1:1 interpretation services in the classroom and throughout the school day
• Assisting with both instructional lessons and extracurricular activities
• Supporting the educational and social needs of your assigned student
• Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards of interpretation
• Adapting communication and strategies to fit individual environments and needs
