CNA - LTC/SNF

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide quality patient care as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting. Ensure residents' needs are met with compassion and professionalism, adhering to facility standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Monitor and document patients' health status, vital signs, and progress.
• Support nurses and healthcare team members with clinical tasks and patient care.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff regarding care needs.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and legal documentation standards.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid CNA certification in the state.
• Proven experience working in LTC/SNF settings preferred.
• Ability to lift, move, and reposition patients safely.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and attentive in a fast-paced environment.
• Must bring a valid government-issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times.
