The role As a Customer Operations Representative , you will support key customer accounts, track shipments, coordinate pickup and delivery appointments, and help resolve issues throughout the transportation process. You'll work closely with Sales, customers, and operations teams to make sure shipments stay on track and information is accurate and up to date. What your day-to-day will look like: Support Sales with managing the branch's key accounts Enter loads and maintain accurate notes regarding shipment status Schedule pickup and delivery appointments with warehouses and customers Track shipments from inception through delivery and communicate updates to customers Handle shipment issues and provide customers with timely information and updates Enter information into the Transportation Management System (TMS) and prepare loads for accounting Ensure shipment and load information is accurate and complete Communicate shipment, billing, and follow-up issues to the Sales Manager and Carrier Operations team Prioritize your daily workload across assigned accounts, including load entry, tracking, and reporting Monitor report cards We're looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities. This role is a great fit for someone who communicates well, pays close attention to detail, and can stay calm and focused when things move quickly. You’ll do well in this role if you Have excellent verbal and written communication skills Are self-motivated and able to work with minimal direct supervision Work well independently and as part of a team Thrive in a fast-paced environment Have strong attention to detail and follow-up skills Are comfortable identifying problems and helping find solutions Can effectively prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines Bonus Points If You Have 1+ year of sales or customer service experience 1+ year of related experience or training Experience or general knowledge of the transportation or logistics industry Experience coordinating shipments, appointments, or customer accounts Experience identifying and resolving customer or operational issues The details Location: In office, Ann Arbor, MI Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-time.
