Commercial New Construction Mechanic

Gentry Service Group, located in Swannanoa, NC, is a customer-focused heating and air-conditioning company that was originally started in 1963. We employ highly skilled associates whose goal is to provide the best customer service to Asheville and the surrounding area.

We are looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC New Construction Mechanic who has extensive experience. Our perfect candidate will have the skills to install a wide variety of commercial equipment. Primary Job Function: Install HVAC equipment, sheet metal products, and ductwork for commercial projects. These would include installations for package units, rooftop units, split systems, and commercial equipment.

Pay Scale: Depending on experience

Required Qualifications:

3+ years of HVAC installation experience in commercial applications
Installation and modification of duct systems, piping systems, control wiring, and other HVAC-related components
3+ years of sheet metal installation experience in commercial applications
Valid driver's license and insurable by company carrier
Brazing Certifications
EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
