Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have recent inpatient telemetry experience, strong clinical assessment skills, and Epic EMR experience. This role requires collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, evidence-based care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring of telemetry patients.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in Epic EMR.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives while maintaining compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute inpatient Telemetry RN experience.
• Recent Epic EMR experience required.
• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN).
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient care skills.
