Immediate opening for Dispatcher/Supervisor position in Hartford, CT. This position is a five (5) day work schedule, which can include one (1) weekend day. It is based on our customers' needs. This position is an on-site position at our rapidly growing Hartford, CT facility.

Requirements include (but are not limited to):

• Oversee AM sortation of routes, making sure all sortation is completed in a timely manner in order for all stops to be put out on route for same day.
• Oversee that scans and assignment scans are completed accurately and on time.
• Coordinate dispatching of routes to drivers and ensure timely departure.
• Confirm that all stops are delivered and closed out by drivers the same day. If any non-deliverables, they are sent out on route for the next day.
• Train drivers as they are on-boarded with proper delivery procedures, including delivery application.
• Assistance with customer escalations.

Skills Required:

• Must have experience dispatching for routed distribution facilities.
• Must have experience in training, motivating and managing workers.
• Must have great communication skills (writing, speaking, e-mails).
• Must have logistics experience.
• Must be able to do a AM/PM shift (we operate 7 days a week)
• Ability to work independently in a very rapid changing environment
• Ability to use and understand multiple different programs and applications. (ie: Google Sheets, Gmail, MS Excel, Word, etc)
• Prior experience in routing is a plus
• Must have knowledge of the CT/MA region.

Schedules include days, nights, weekends, holidays, and/or overtime.
