Research Associate

We are partnering with a leading clinical and commercial biologics CDMO focused on developing and manufacturing biopharmaceuticals. They are seeking a Research Associate, Process Development to support the development, optimization, and scale-up of downstream purification processes used in biologics manufacturing. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to protein purification, chromatography development, filtration studies, and technology transfer activities that help bring innovative therapies from development into commercial production. Key Responsibilities Support downstream process development and routine purification of monoclonal antibodies and recombinant proteins. Assist with chromatography method development and execution for protein purification processes. Perform buffer formulation development, buffer preparation, and filtration process development activities. Operate chromatography systems, filtration equipment, and supporting process development instrumentation. Conduct in-process and routine analytical testing, including protein concentration and HPLC-based assays. Compile, analyze, and interpret experimental data to support process development projects. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and project summaries for internal teams and clients. Support process scale-up activities and technology transfer of downstream operations into manufacturing. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree with 1+ years of relevant biopharmaceutical industry experience, in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, or a related field. Hands-on experience with chromatography, filtration processes, buffer preparation, and protein purification techniques.
