Experience with NG tubes, chest tubes, foley catheters, and turps. Knowledge of respiratory issues, diabetic patient care, sepsis management, and alcohol withdrawal. Ability to manage rib fractures, altered mental status, and pain management. Great customer service and patient experience skills. Description: We are seeking a dedicated RN Charge Nurse for a surgical inpatient unit. The facility is a level III trauma center and provides healthcare services for various medical needs. The surgical unit features 24 beds with a patient ratio of a maximum of 1:6. RNs will care for adult patients ranging in age from 18 and above. The nurse will be responsible for post-operative care for a diverse patient population. Equipment used includes IV pumps and vital sign monitors. Electronic health records are managed through a specific software system. We are looking for a professional willing to uphold policies and guidelines while providing exceptional patient care. Preferred experience includes familiarity with a variety of medical/surgical conditions.
