Registered Nurse (ICU)Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 3+ years required, completion of 1+ travel assignment required License: Michigan license verification required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS, ACLS (AHA) Must-Have: Primarily ICU experience preferred, able to float to CVICUDescription: The Registered Nurse delivers quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process. This role requires collaboration with other members of the healthcare team to maintain standards for professional nursing practice. Responsibilities include assessing the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient. The nurse will plan and implement nursing care according to patient and family needs. Appropriate interventions must be made based on individual patient needs. Evaluation of patient responses to nursing interventions is essential. The nurse assumes personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development. Compliance with hospital policy and standards of practice defined by professional and regulatory guidelines is mandatory. Attendance policies are strictly enforced, and any contractor who is absent from a scheduled shift or is tardy will face disciplinary actions.
