What You’ll Do
- Assist with daily recreational programs and activities for residents
- Set up and lead games, crafts, parties, and special events
- Support creative activities such as ceramics, art projects, and seasonal decorations
- Escort residents to and from activities
- Encourage participation and social engagement for all residents
- Visit residents in their rooms to provide one-on-one interaction and support
- Assist with planning movies, events, and group activities
- Help with basic resident needs such as writing letters or running small errands
- Complete required documentation accurately and timely
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience in activities or healthcare is a plus—but not required (we will train!)
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently when needed
- Passion for working with older adults
