You'll have the opportunity to solve a wide range of residential electrical issues while working with a supportive team that values safety, customer service, and doing the job right.If you're technically strong, dependable, and enjoy building trust with customers, we want to talk to you.What You'll DoDiagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential electrical systems.Install and replace panels, breakers, circuits, outlets, switches, lighting, ceiling fans, and other electrical components.Complete service upgrades, wiring repairs, dedicated circuits, and electrical system improvements.Install EV chargers, generators, surge protection, smoke detectors, and other residential electrical equipment.Perform electrical safety inspections and identify code, safety, or performance concerns.Clearly explain findings and present homeowners with appropriate repair or replacement options.Obtain customer authorization before beginning work.Identify opportunities to recommend additional products or services that improve safety, reliability, or convenience.Prepare accurate estimates and complete service documentation using company software.Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code, local requirements, and company standards.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while protecting customers' homes.Maintain assigned vehicle inventory, tools, equipment, and materials.Communicate professionally with customers, office staff, and coworkers.Participate in required meetings, technical training, and professional development.What We're Looking ForActive Connecticut E-1 or E-2 electrical license required.Previous residential electrical service and repair experience.Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.Knowledge of residential wiring methods, electrical systems, and applicable codes.Ability to independently manage service calls from diagnosis through completion.Strong communication and customer service skills.Comfortable presenting service options and making appropriate recommendations.Commitment to safe, code-compliant, and high-quality work.Professional appearance and respect for customers and their homes.Comfortable using tablets, mobile applications, and field service software.Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.Ability to perform physical work in attics, basements, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions.Compensation and BenefitsCompetitive compensation with performance-based earning opportunitiesMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time Off and Paid HolidaysCompany-Provided VehicleCompany Phone or TabletUniforms ProvidedOngoing Paid Technical and Customer Service TrainingYear-Round WorkCareer Advancement OpportunitiesSupportive, Team-Oriented Work EnvironmentWhat Success Looks LikeSuccess in this role means diagnosing electrical problems accurately, completing safe and dependable work, and helping homeowners feel confident in the solutions you recommend.
