Ooltewah High School is a 9‑12 school in Ooltewah, TN, just outside of Chattanooga. We are the second largest school in Hamilton County, serving just under 1300 students. Our school was established in 1907 and we have a rich tradition of excellence, including strong community and parent support. We are proud to be an AP Capstone School and host three Future Ready Institutes. Additionally, we offer unique programs for our students including Culinary Arts and Audio/Visual Broadcasting. Responsibilities Plan, deliver, and assess effective instruction aligned to Tennessee state standards. Design engaging lessons with clear objectives and measurable outcomes. Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners. Collaborate regularly with colleagues and support staff. Build strong, respectful relationships with students and families. Create a well‑managed, structured classroom environment. Participate in ongoing professional development and reflection. Passion for supporting the whole child academically and socially. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. Valid Tennessee teaching license in 6‑12 Science OR current enrollment in an accredited teacher preparation program. Compensation & Additional Info Salary scale based on education and experience – starting at $50,000.00. Eligible positions may qualify for additional pay under the Differentiated Compensation Plan.
