Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel assignment in Dallas, requiring at least 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience and BLS certification.
Details
- Assignment on a 23-bed Diabetic/Endocrine Med-Surg unit
- Unit staffed with 6 RNs and 1-2 PCTs per shift
- Patient ratio of 1:5
- Uses Meditech EMR
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week assignment
- 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule period
- Floating required to all acute care areas including med surg, general surg, renal transplant, telemetry, neuro, and ortho
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required
- Strong time management skills required
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
- One professional reference required (two required for FL and MO candidates)
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide general med-surg nursing care on a diabetic/endocrine unit
- Royal blue scrubs required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be considered
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
