Industrial Maintenance Technician

Description Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair controls, drives, electronic motor devices, sensors, pumps, ovens, industrial machinery, conduit systems, and emergency lighting systems. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs following a scheduled PM program and as needed to keep the plant operational. Troubleshoot equipment and electro‑pneumatic controls on automated machinery. Knowledge of gas burner systems is beneficial. Report equipment condition and status to the Maintenance Manager. Assist in installation of new equipment, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, electronic, and computer systems. Work overtime, including other shifts and on‑call periods, as necessary. Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing equipment for maintenance activities. Maintain a clean work environment. Reduce machine downtime and improve throughput and overall performance. Document all issues, repairs, parts used, recommendations, etc., to maintain preventive maintenance schedules. Meet established expectations and take responsibility for achieving results; encourage others to do the same. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills Needed Proficient in reading work instructions. Sense of urgency in troubleshooting and repairing equipment for minimal downtime. Excellent record of project and assignment completion. Ability to work independently. Ability to carry through self‑directed projects and continuous improvement efforts. Desire to work safely and perform responsibilities. General Qualifications Three years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility (preferred). Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Thorough knowledge and practice of LOTO. Physical Requirements Work from heights using ladders and aerial lifts. Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently during a work shift. Stand, walk, squat, bend, and twist at the waist, knees, and neck frequently. Use both hands for push/pull forces up to 125 lbs. frequently. Reach, handle, and grasp objects frequently. Climb and work in awkward or cramped positions. Use hand and power tools in a shop area. Benefits Competitive hourly pay of $19 per hour plus monthly profit sharing. Annual pay range without overtime: $53,382.40 – $58,489.60 (includes profit sharing). Company uniform. Free life insurance and short‑term disability insurance.
