Manage a high-performing team operating in a hybrid and remote environment, fostering collaboration, accountability, and engagement across home-based and on-site team members, who oversee defaulted contracts in varying stages of delinquency and different types of industry and portfolios. This role involves directing collection activities within assigned areas, ensuring timely review and recovery of past-due accounts to meet delinquency targets while minimizing loss ratios and risk exposure.The position requires strict adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Location expectationsThis role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.Basic Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience - Typically three or more years of relevant experience Preferred Skills/ExperienceBasic knowledge of loan collection techniques, policies, procedures, and principles of credit lendingWorking understanding of collection laws and regulationsBasic knowledge of consumer, residential, commercial, and/or dealer-originated installment lendingFamiliarity with online collection systemsBasic knowledge of general organizational operations and proceduresStrong planning and organizational skillsGood managerial skillsAbility to resolve moderate problems with minimal guidanceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsKey Responsibilities:• Leading a team of EF Servicing Team members.• Showing versatility and excellent time management.• Responsible for training, coaching and mentoring team members.• Provides high quality customer service by responding to telephone inquiries, requests and problems, as needed.• Researches, analyzes, and provides solutions that meet the customer’s needs.• Testing as needed in the UAT environment with EF applications and customer online portal• Lead through process improvements and transformation• Engage with team members and handle customer escalations.• Work additional projects as assigned.• Strong communication skills.• Ability to collaborate within team as well as with other areas of the organization.• Strong ability to escalate concerns timely and effectively.• Desire to develop a strong team to meet organization objectives.• Proactively identify new and better ways of working.• Positive outlook and good interpersonal skills.If there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.
