Interim Accountant

Partnering with a manufacturing company that is in the midst of an ERP integration with their parent company, the accounting team is heavily involved in the transition, creating an immediate need for a hands‑on Staff or Senior Accountant to support day‑to‑day accounting operations. This is a 6‑10 month contract opportunity ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and making an impact in a fast‑moving, team‑oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Support full‑cycle, day‑to‑day accounting operations during ERP transition Manage A/R and A/P processes, including customer and vendor invoicing Perform bank reconciliations, deposits, and cash management activities Assist with month‑end close, including account reconciliations (cash, inventory, AR, AP) Maintain accuracy of financial data and trial balance prior to submission to corporate Partner with internal team members to ensure timely and accurate reporting across two manufacturing sites Assist with ad hoc accounting needs as the business navigates integration efforts What You’ll Be Working With Lean local team: Controller + administrative support Plant‑level data provided by operations teams (no on‑site plant accountants) ERP: Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Qualifications 3‑7+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience a plus) Strong foundation in GL accounting, month‑end close, and reconciliations Hands‑on experience with AP/AR, cash, and inventory accounting Comfortable working in a lean, onsite environment with shifting priorities Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar ERP preferred Self‑starter with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Why This Role?
