About the Position

Job Title: Outpatient Urology Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Urology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Urology and Outpatient Clinic License: VA state license or compact license in hand Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Experience in outpatient urology and procedural work, including cystoscopies, vasectomies, nurse visits, suprapubic and Foley catheter changes, bladder installations, and experience with bladder scanning and PVR. Experience performing urodynamics tests. Experience with Epic charting system. Description: This position requires expertise in urology outpatient services. Candidates must have experience performing procedures such as cystoscopies and vasectomies. Duties include conducting nurse visits and managing catheter changes. Candidates must be capable of bladder installations and bladder scanning. Experience in interpreting laboratory results and medication reconciliation is essential. The role may require floating within the scope of practice if necessary. A BSN is preferred for this position.
