Medical Science Liaison, Cell Therapy Territory Location: Houston, TX and Louisiana Responsibilities Medical Engagement Effectively collaborates and engages in scientific dialogue with thought leaders to gain insights on clinical landscape and develop a medical plan focused on product/disease area and launch effectiveness. Proactively engages in scientific and clinical conversations to support launch and lifecycle management activities. Engages with medical societies, patient advocacy groups, and guideline committee members as appropriate. Provides training for external speakers as needed. Strategically engages payers in pre‑ and peri‑launch phases with FHERO and Account Executives. Provides real‑time medical support for unsolicited HCP questions in face‑to‑face interactions and through the Medical on Call virtual capability. Develops credible connections with key thought leaders in the therapeutic area through peer‑to‑peer scientific dialogue. Documents and achieves annual goals. Leverages digital capabilities to enhance medical engagement. Clinical Trial Engagement Provides recommendations and insights to the clinical development team on study feasibility within the therapeutic area based on field knowledge and contacts with potential investigators. Liaises with key large accounts to understand clinical barriers to patient access and ensure equity in clinical trial participation. Leads major evidence read‑outs with clinical trial investigators (e.g., Phase3 top‑line data). Supports interventional and non‑interventional research studies, including site identification and assessment, to facilitate patient recruitment. Provides recommendations and insights on study and site feasibility based on field knowledge and contacts with investigators. Supports HCPs in the ISR submission and execution process and study follow‑up as agreed upon with the medical office. Ensures investigators understand and apply BMS pharmacovigilance procedural documents, alerting appropriate BMS personnel to identified adverse events. Supports CRO‑sponsored studies as applicable and as defined by the study scope document. Travel Position requires operation of a company‑provided vehicle; employment contingent on meeting “Qualified Driver” requirements (age, driver’s license, acceptable driving risk). MSL will spend the majority of time in the field with external customers; additional requirements based on territory assignment and team needs. Upholds high integrity and good judgment to navigate role requirements in compliance with BMS policies. Required Qualifications & Experience MD, DO, PharmD, DNP, or PhD required. Minimum three years clinical or research experience in hematology OR three years as an MSL in lymphoma or multiple myeloma landscapes. Cell therapy experience strongly preferred. Proven ability to work independently and in cross‑functional teams. Current knowledge of U.S. legal, regulatory, and compliance regulations relevant to industry interactions with HCPs. Ability to partner and maintain relationships within the medical community. Excellent communication, presentation, and time‑management skills. Can translate scientific or clinical data into understandable, valuable information for physicians. Compensation Overview Field – United States – US: $168,220 – $203,837 The starting compensation range is for a full‑time employee. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available based on eligibility. Final individual compensation is determined by demonstrated experience.
