Night Janitor
Have you always wanted a fun and rewarding job? Do you have a passion for working with seniors? Look no further as we currently have an opening for a Night Janitor to join our Maintenance/Housekeeping team! Schedule is 2pm-10pm, 10p-6am, and 2pm-10pm/10pm-6am split.
What You'll Do:
Walk through each building at the start of your scheduled shift looking for any outstanding housekeeping tasks
Common area janitorial cleaning throughout the community such as vacuuming, dusting, cleaning restrooms, and taking out the trash
Special cleaning projects including, but not limited to carpet cleaning, deep cleaning, leaf blowing, pressure washing,
Ensure sidewalks and roads are salted and cleared during icy or snowy weather
Respond to the needs of residents, families, visitors, and team members
What We're Looking For:
1 year of previous janitorial experience preferred
Carpet cleaning experience preferred
Previous experience working in a senior living community or healthcare setting preferred
Ability to organize and re-prioritize to accommodate fluctuating needs of the residents and community
Must be ablet to read, comprehend, write, and speak English to effectively communicate with residents, guests and other team members
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Enjoy working with seniors
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and pull frequently during shift
Proficiency in basic computer skills
Must meet all health-related requirements pertaining to local and state regulatory agencies
Ability to maintain CPR/First Aid credentials
