Test & Instrumentation Engineer

Description:
ENG- Support the build, installation, maintenance, calibration, checkout, and operation of instrumentation systems used to collect engineering measurement data. Assist with instrumentation installation by following technician-prepared instructions, operate data acquisition and recording equipment, and maintain instrumentation accuracy through established maintenance and operating procedures. Perform work supporting test aircraft avionics and instrumentation wiring.

*Bachelor's degree with 16+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 14+ years of experience
*Demonstrated extensive strain gauge experience
*Support instrumentation system installation, checkout, maintenance, and calibration activities
*Perform operation of data acquisition systems and recording equipment
*Experience working on test aircraft avionics and instrumentation wiring
*Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
*Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

*Support the building and maintenance of instrumentation systems used for engineering measurement data
*Apply technician-prepared traveler instructions during instrumentation activities
*Assist with preparation and installation of instrumentation systems
*Conduct checkout and operation of instrumentation systems
*Follow planned maintenance and calibration procedures for instrumentation and control equipment
*Maintain instrumentation accuracy to ensure data validity
*Operate data acquisition systems and other recording equipment
*Upload required onboarding documentation under Other Attachments
*Comply with standard operating procedures for instrumentation and control equipment
