Markit EDM Developer

Job Title

Responsibilities

• Create, alter, and maintain various Markit EDM Components, both Data and UI Components, using Markit Enterprise Data Management tools as per business requirements.
• Create solutions, use appropriate components, and utilize appropriate grouping strategies for EDM projects.
• Ensure Markit EDM standards are followed.
• Ensure performance and security.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and propose solution for any issue reported by Production Support or Business.
• Create, alter, and maintain database objects including Stored Procedures and UDFs
• Create and propose data model as per business requirements.
• Create, modify, maintain, and debug plugins developed for Markit EDM
• Perform peer Code Reviews.
• Coordinate with Dev and QA teams for release management. Create packages to be exported/imported between different environments.

Skills

• Should have 6+ years of experience working on Banking and Finance Domain.
• Should have 3+ years of experience working on Markit EDM
• Experience with working on large and complex Solutions using Markit EDM for Financial Domain.
• Strong proficiency with T-SQL and SQL Server 2017.
• Proficiency with C#.Net
• Hands on experience with IIS
• Very strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Sound understanding of Execution Plans and Hands-on experience with optimizing large and complex SQL Statements.
• Strong in RDBMS concepts and Experience in data modeling.
• Knowledge of SQL Server Profiler tool.
• Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases.
• Ability to plan resource requirements from high level specifications.
• Knowledge of tools like Git, Octopus, and TeamCity will be an added advantage.
